My Approach
At Root + River Wellness, I use a combination of healing therapies to honor your body’s priorities for healing. I utilize mind-body systems like BodyTalk, Applied kinesiology, Chinese medicine, Herbs & Supplements, and Manual therapies as needed for a personalized, holistic approach. Using this method, we can get to the root of your symptoms, and begin to restore communication breakdowns that could be contributing to dis-ease.
Step 1: Initial Healing Session
First, you will schedule a New Client session and complete intake forms about your current state of well-being, and your full health history. This is whole-person healthcare, and I want to know your story! In this session, we will discuss your intake answers, and begin your priority based healing session. This includes a combination of the BodyTalk system of healthcare, traditional AK vial testing, Chinese Medicine, and herbal/supplement recommendations on an individual basis.
Step 2: Begin Your Journey
Now that you’ve had your first session, you will begin the recommended protocols, including further healing sessions, herbs/supplements, or manual therapy per Jenna’s recommendation. Using a combined modality approach allows me to provide comprehensive integrative healthcare that addresses the whole person. Each of our established clients have the ability to book modalities a la carte as desired.
Step 3: Maintain Your Wellness
The beauty of the healing modalities we use, is that they allow you to be in tune with your body’s own healing capabilities. Our goal is not to keep you sick, it’s to help you create sustainable wellness, and give you the tools needed to maintain it. Oftentimes, we recommended 3-5 sessions over a period of the first few months, to give your Body-mind and nervous system time to stabilize and meet your healing needs. Jenna will recommend follow up timeframes on a case by case basis.
